Vote now for your cinch Player of the Month for January and win!

Voting is now open below for the cinch Player of the Month prize for January, with supporters able to vote for the Saint they believe made the biggest contribution on the pitch in the first month of 2023.

The competition will remain open for one week before the winning player is announced by Northampton Saints and cinch, with voting closing at 11.59pm on Wednesday 8 February.

Throughout the season, cinch will also be offering up a range of prizes for those who vote for the award, with one lucky supporter each month selected at random after voting closes. For January, a £50 voucher to spend in the Saints Store is available, with other unique prizes to follow in the months ahead including event tickets and signed merchandise.

Northampton took to the field five times across the month of January, facing Harlequins, Exeter Chiefs and Leicester Tigers in the Gallagher Premiership, as well as Munster Rugby and Stade Rochelais in the Heineken Champions Cup.

With those clashes in mind, Saints’ coaches have selected four nominees for the monthly gong; Lewis Ludlam, Alex Moon, James Ramm and David Ribbans.

Club captain Ludlam featured in four of Saints’ five outings in January before linking up with England ahead of their Six Nations campaign, leading from the front in both attack and defence as he made 67 carries and 46 tackles across the month.

Lock Moon continued his physical run of form in January, topping the Premiership’s tackle stats after 15 rounds with an impressive 142 tackles in the league – making some 51 across his four outings in January alone.

Meanwhile Ramm shone in attack for Saints’ backs, scoring two tries against Harlequins and another against Munster at Thomond Park before assisting the all-important match-winning try against Leicester.

And England lock Ribbans enjoyed another impressive month, excelling on both sides of the ball to make a whopping 33 carries and 37 tackles while hitting some 67 attacking rucks in just three outings in January before linking up with the England squad for the upcoming Six Nations tournament.

You can cast your vote below, but please note: only ONE vote per entrant will be counted.
