Voting is now open below for the cinch Player of the Month prize for October, with supporters able to vote for the Saint they believe made the biggest contribution on the pitch over the course of the second month of the season.
The competition will remain open for one week before the winning player is announced by Northampton Saints and cinch, with voting closing at midnight on Thursday 10 November.
Throughout the season, cinch will also be offering up a range of prizes for those who vote for the award, with one lucky supporter each month selected at random after voting closes. For October, a £50 voucher to spend in the Saints Store is available, with other unique prizes to follow in the months ahead including event tickets and signed merchandise.
Northampton took to the field for seven competitive matches in October, facing Harlequins, Wasps, Newcastle Falcons, Bath Rugby and Bristol Bears in the Gallagher Premiership as well as Saracens and Harlequins in the Premiership Rugby Cup.
Hinkley’s stellar month saw the back row feature in three of Saints’ outings – scoring his first try in Black, Green and Gold on the front foot, while also putting in an impressive showing in defence, making some 18 tackles against Bristol Bears alone.
The 23-year-old’s fellow forward Salakaia-Loto featured in all five of Saints’ Premiership clashes, with the lock getting on the end of an impressive Northampton try against Bristol to also score his first points in a Saints shirt.
Meanwhile scrum-half Mitchell continued his excellent run of form, adding two more tries to his tally as well as picking up the man-of-the-match award against Bristol Bears and the Premiership Player of the Week for Round 8.
And finally, Sleightholme kept his incredible scoring run going – crossing the whitewash a whopping four times across the month, including collecting a brace against Newcastle Falcons.
