Vote now for your cinch Player of the Month for September and win!

Voting is now open below for the cinch Player of the Month prize for September, with supporters able to vote for the Saint they believe made the biggest contribution on the pitch over the course of the first month of the season.

The competition will remain open for one week before the winning player is announced by Northampton Saints and cinch, with voting closing at midnight on Thursday 13 October.

Throughout the season, cinch will also be offering up a range of prizes for those who vote for the award, with one lucky supporter each month selected at random after voting closes. For September, a £50 voucher to spend in the Saints Store is available, with other unique prizes to follow in the months ahead including event tickets and signed merchandise.

Northampton took to the field for four competitive matches in September, facing Sale Sharks, London Irish and Leicester Tigers in the Gallagher Premiership as well as London Irish again in the Premiership Rugby Cup.

With those clashes in mind, Saints’ coaches have selected four nominees for the monthly gong; Alex Coles, George Furbank, Alex Mitchell and Lukhan Salakaia-Loto.

Coles was rewarded for a stellar month at lock in Black, Green and Gold with his first England call-up for this week’s training camp after playing every minute of Premiership action, scoring one try and adding an assist to boot alongside five offloads and 30 completed tackles.

The 23-year-old’s second row partner, Salakaia-Loto, also enjoyed a fantastic month in his first three competitive outings for Saints, racking up 27 tackles, 25 carries, four offloads and a lineout steal.

Meanwhile scrum-half Mitchell picked up just where he left off after a standout 2021/22 campaign with two tries and one remarkable assist to his name (against London Irish which saw a brilliant chip-and-chase followed up by an inch-perfect pass over the top to Juarno Augustus).

And last but not least, Furbank was on fire from fullback, coming off the bench against Sale to notch three assists in just 20 minutes before adding another against Tigers and scoring a try of his own in the clash against Irish.

You can cast your vote below, but please note: only ONE vote per entrant will be counted.
