Beating Leicester Tigers for the first time since 2014 on Saturday, Saints are now fully focussed on continuing the good form they showed in that win as they prepare to play host to Bath on tomorrow night.
Citizen Try of the Week nominee, Tom Collins said that to come out and perform as they did has really boosted Saints and that to get on the scoresheet was a special moment for himself.
"It feels good getting on the scoresheet," Collins commented at this week's media session.
"But that always comes on the back of a good team performance and I feel like having the lads around me doing the stuff they're doing here it makes it so much easier.
"It's a good feeling to score against Leicester as well. As a young lad you dream of that moment, scoring against Leicester in an East Midlands derby, when you've been watching it since you were six or seven. So it was a great feeling to go through and score."
Looking ahead to this tomorrow's challenge of currently unbeaten Bath, Collins said that maintaining a consistent performance to back up last weekend's effort was what the whole team was working hard to achieve.
"Consistency is so important this weekend, not just for myself but as a whole team. Obviously, the week before last we didn't have a great game, we lost to Saracens, but all preseason we've been playing really well, playing good rugby and I feel like that showed against Leicester.
"That was what was so frustrating, we went into the Saracens week confident that we were going to do well and it didn't come off. I feel there's still a lot of frustration there, we did build on that this week going out against Leicester and having a good game but I feel like we can keep building on that now and move forwards."
