Courtney Lawes’ performances domestically and in Europe saw the long-serving forward named the cinch Player of the Month for January.
The flanker scored his ninth and tenth career tries for the men in Black, Green and Gold against Aviron Bayonnais (61-14) and Newcaste Falcons (38-13), sandwiching his man-of-the-match performance in the historic Investec Champions Cup victory away against Munster (26-23).
Other heroes from that sensational night in Limerick; Sam Graham, Rory Hutchinson and Fin Smith, were also shortlisted but it was 35-year-old Lawes who attracted the most votes from supporters to take home a cinch Player of the Month trophy for the first time.
Lawes is the third back-row forward to win the award this season after Henry Pollock (September) and Tom Pearson (October) and follows George Furbank who was successful in both November and December.
Bossing it again.

Throughout the season, cinch will also be offering up a range of prizes for those who vote for the award, with one lucky supporter each month selected at random after voting closes.
This month, one lucky supporter was chosen from those who voted, with Wendy Marshall selected at random out of almost 500 supporters who voted to collect a shirt signed by the flanker.
