Northampton Saints fly-half Dan Biggar has been named Travis Perkins Player of the Month for April, after claiming just over 30% of the online supporter vote.
The 31-year-old scooped the award after edging out fellow nominees Teimana Harrison, Alex Mitchell and David Ribbans for his superb performances against Ulster, London Irish and Leicester Tigers.
The influential Welsh No.10 guided Saints to back-to-back league victories over Irish and East Midlands rivals Tigers, scoring 22 points from the kicking tee in the process, and capped off an incredible month in Black, Green and Gold by getting called up to the British & Irish Lions’ squad at the beginning of May.
Saints and Travis Perkins have joined forces this season to offer supporters the chance to win fantastic prizes, while rewarding Northampton’s players for their stellar performances throughout the campaign.
This month’s winner was Rosie Davies, who was selected at random out of almost 500 supporters who voted to win £50 worth of Saints Store vouchers.
