Tuesday, April 15th sees two competitions be decided, the Oceanic Cup (a Colts tournament for Under-18 teams) and the Lewis Shield.

The action starts at 6pm with the Oceanic Cup final between Northampton Casuals and Old Northamptonians, followed at 7:45pm by the Lewis Shield final, in which Olney and Northampton Old Scouts will go head-to-head.

The local club scene reaches its climax on Wednesday, April 30th with the Alliance Cup final. This year’s final is a repeat of the 2013 match between Old Northamptonians and Towcestrians.

That night saw ONs take home the silverware after a 13-12 thriller, and this year’s clash will continue the rivalry between the two clubs.

Entry to either of the evenings costs £5 for adults and £3 for Under-16s, in both instances payable on the gate. Tickets are not available in advance.

Fourteen clubs are eligible to enter the Oceanic Cup, Lewis Shield and Alliance Cup, which promotes competition among rugby teams in the Northampton and North Buckinghamshire areas.
