From this weekend’s fixture against Stade Rochelais onwards, all money owed from EcoCup returns will be refunded contactlessly to payment cards ONLY.
As part of the Club’s ongoing sustainability efforts, EcoCups have been used throughout cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens for several seasons to reduce Saints’ reliance on single-use plastics.
An EcoCup deposit of £1 (each) is made upon the purchase of drinks around the ground – from this weekend onwards, this money will be refunded contactlessly via card, with cash refunds no longer being issued.
Refunds on EcoCup returns will be available from at least one till unit at every bar across the stadium this weekend, with all tills expected to be able to process refunds from Saints vs Sale Sharks (18 Feb) onwards.
Alternatively, EcoCup deposits can still be donated into one of Northampton Saints Foundation’s branded bins around the ground – Northampton Saints Foundation will receive a donation for every cup deposited, with funds raised supporting life-changing programmes for children across the county.
