Northampton Saints are delighted to announce that The Food Heroes have joined the Club as an Elite Partner.
Founded in 2020 alongside Michelin‑starred chef Pierre Koffmann, The Food Heroes was created with a clear ambition; to deliver consistently high‑quality, British‑grown potatoes to professional kitchens across the UK. In a short space of time, the business has grown rapidly, now supplying some of the country’s leading restaurants, pub groups, large foodservice operators and retailers.
Best known for its flagship Koffmann’s range, The Food Heroes has built a reputation for simplifying potato selection by usage rather than variety, enabling chefs to achieve consistent results every time. Building on that success, the brand has since expanded into a wider frozen food portfolio, launching ranges in collaboration with renowned culinary figures including Marco Pierre White and Tom Kitchin, alongside its signature Koffmann offering – all underpinned by the same commitment to quality and excellence in every serve.
The partnership represents a natural alignment for Saints. The Food Heroes already supplies the Club with a range of fresh and frozen potato products across the Koffmann and Marco Pierre White Retro brands, supporting matchday operations and hospitality delivery at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.
As Saints’ Official Potato & Chip Partner, The Food Heroes’ products will be served across the stadium – including hospitality areas and the Supporter Village – giving fans the opportunity to experience the range first‑hand on matchdays.
“Quality, consistency and reliability are absolutely vital in our environment – whether that’s feeding players at the highest level of the game, or delivering a great experience for supporters on matchday,” said Ulundi Makhanya, Director of Commercial Partnerships at Northampton Saints.
“This is a partnership built on shared values – quality, performance and consistency. The Food Heroes already play an important role behind the scenes at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, and we’re delighted to now formally bring that relationship to life in a more visible way for our supporters.”
As part of the new partnership, The Food Heroes will receive prominent brand exposure at cinch Stadium, including try‑line boards at each end of the stadium featuring Koffmann’s branding, with additional visibility across the Club’s High Performance Centre to follow.
For The Food Heroes, the partnership comes at a time of significant growth both in the UK and internationally, reinforcing the brand’s ambition to scale further within retail, stadia, events and large‑scale foodservice environments.
Beyond brand visibility, the partnership will offer opportunities for The Food Heroes to engage with supporters, local businesses and the wider rugby community, bringing the brand to life through activations across the season.
With a genuine passion for rugby running throughout The Food Heroes’ team, the partnership reflects a shared belief in performance, quality and doing things the right way – on matchdays and beyond.
Simon Martin, CEO and Founder of The Food Heroes, said: “Partnering with Northampton Saints is a really proud moment for everyone at The Food Heroes.
“We already work closely with the Club behind the scenes, so to now bring that relationship into a formal partnership, and to share our products with supporters on matchdays, feels like a natural next step.
“This partnership comes at a hugely exciting time for our business as we continue to grow in the UK and internationally, and we’re looking forward to engaging with Saints’ supporters, the local community, and fellow partners as we bring our brands to life at cinch Stadium.”
