Northampton Saints will launch Captains Club at this Friday’s fixture against Harlequins (7 September), with twelve former Saints captains attending the suite’s opening night.
Captains Club is a brand-new space for the Club’s Season Ticket Holders offering members a new laid-back, social setting to mingle with fellow supporters before, during and after each one of Saints’ 16 home matches.
With only a few places still available to purchase, members will enjoy a private dedicated bar with flat screen TVs, a complimentary matchday programme and teamsheet, a Q&A with a Saints player or legend, and a Captain’s Club pin badge – all for just £300 a season.
A range of informal food options will also be available, and with a relaxed dress code (playing shirts are welcome!) Captain’s Club is open to every Season Ticket Holder interested in joining.
And to celebrate the opening of the new, exclusive space, twelve former Saints captains will be joining Captains Club members in the new suite to raise a toast to the start of the 2018/19 season, after a Q&A with BBC Radio Northampton sports editor Graham McKechnie.
Saints captain between 1968 and 1972, David Powell said he was excited to link up with old friends in the newly-launched suite.
“I think this a great idea from the Club,” Powell commented. “Northampton Saints is always a part of you once you pull on the shirt and even more so when you lead the team, so to have so many former captains coming back to the Club is great to see.
“It’s testament to the team at Saints to have got us all in one room and I’m very much looking forward to catching up with some old teammates and friends, as well as mingle with some of the Club’s loyal supporters.”
