Head coach Will Parkin has made four changes to his Northampton Saints side ahead of their second round Premiership Rugby Under-18 Academy League clash with Yorkshire Rugby on Friday (26 August, kick-off: 5pm).
After opening their campaign with a narrow 27-24 defeat to Leicester Tigers, Saints head north in search of their first win of the term – with Ashton Webb, Henry Field, Rory Hollis and Jacob Willmott the only changes to Parkin’s side from last time out.
“We were disappointed to come so close and not get the win last week,” Parkin said. “But the most important thing is to take away the learnings from the Tigers match and develop them into this week.
“It took us a while to bed into that game, and it was only in the last 15 minutes that we really showed what we were capable of. That’s a timeframe we need to change around against Yorkshire if we’re going to improve.
“Heading up to Yorkshire is always a tough ask but the lads have been working hard this week and are ready for the challenge.”
