Northampton Saints backs Ethan Grayson and George Hendy have both been named in England Under-20s’ starting line-up to face Italy on Tuesday.
Head coach Alan Dickens also includes Tom Lockett and Tom Litchfield on the bench for the clash in Treviso which kicks off at 5pm BST tomorrow afternoon at the Stadio Monigo in Treviso.
The Red Rose face the tournament hosts in their final match of the Six Nations Under-20 Summer Series, having finished second in Pool A after beating France 29-20 but narrowly going down to South Africa (30-22) and Ireland (37-36) in their two other matches.
Grayson continues in the centres for England but Hendy is switched from fullback onto the wing for what is effectively a third-place play-off match against the Azzurri – who beat Scotland and Georgia to finish second in Pool B.
Dickens said: “Although we were disappointed to concede four tries in the first half against Ireland, I thought we did well to score six of our own and get the bonus point.
“Italy had a really good pool stage and we know they will give us a strong test, but we’ll be looking to finish the Summer Series on a real high.”
