Francis reflects on first Twickenham run out

Earning his third international cap at the weekend as he came off the bench against Samoa, Piers Francis returns to the Gardens ready to kick on with Saints as they prepare to take on Newcastle Falcons this Friday.

Francis said that his first experience of playing at Twickenham Stadium was something he'd dreamt about since being a child.

"It was massively exciting," Francis told SaintsTV.

"It was great to experience the home of England Rugby in a white jersey like that.

"It's something that's been an ambition of mine for a long time and it was great to have the family there and for them to experience the day.

"It always seemed a long way away when I was growing up when I was aspiring to be a part of an event like that so it was huge to finally be able to do that."
