Francois van Wyk to leave Northampton Saints this summer

Northampton Saints today announce that Francois van Wyk will be leaving the Club at the end of the 2020/21 season.

The 29-year-old loosehead prop arrived at Franklin’s Gardens back in 2017 having previously represented Australian side Western Force and hometown club Western Province in South Africa.

Van Wyk has made 83 appearances to date in Black, Green and Gold, bringing up his Saints half-century during the 2018-19 campaign, and helping the side lift the Premiership Rugby Cup that same season.

“I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to play for Saints these last four years,” he said. “I want to thank everyone who has been a part of my time at Franklin’s Gardens, and I will be completely committed to helping the squad for the remainder of my time at the Club.”

Northampton Saints would like to thank Francois and his wife, Andi, for their contribution to the Club over the last four years.
