Franklin’s Gardens to open for Derby Day Lunch

The East Midlands Derby is now only two weeks away, and while Saints supporters will not be able to make the short journey to Welford Road this year to cheer on the men in Black, Green and Gold, Franklin’s Gardens is opening its doors to offer the next best thing.

The Derby Day Lunch will see the Barwell and South Stand boxes opened on Sunday 13 September from two hours before kick-off (12pm for a 2pm kick-off), meaning supporters can bring their family and friends to the home of Northampton Saints for a relaxed pre-match meal.

Live rugby on the hallowed Gardens turf might not be on the menu, but the Leicester Tigers v Saints match will be shown in each box, offering a private and socially-distanced space to take in a mouth-watering Derby clash.

With capacity for up to 12 people*, guests will enjoy a three-course pre-match meal, pies at half-time, followed by a full-time cheeseboard to round off the afternoon – all for just £59 per person.

A cash bar will be available too, with Club legend visits to boxes and exclusive player interviews via a Zoom conference call also planned for before the match.

Places are limited, so book your spot now and avoid disappointment by emailing [email protected], and a member of our team will be in touch.
