Friday Night Lights at Worcester

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

After the opening two rounds of the Anglo-Welsh Cup and two wins, Saints travel to Worcester Warriors on Friday night to restart their Aviva Premiership campaign.

Saints’ hosts have only won one game so far this season earning a 11-9 win as they played host to Newcastle Falcons in the fifth round, while incredibly drawing two of home games in a row against Gloucester and Sale Sharks respectively.

Losing only once at home this season to Brive in the European Challenge Cup, Worcester’s home record is second only to Saracens, Harlequins and Wasps with their Aviva Premiership home record unblemished as yet.

With two wins in a row in the Aviva Premiership, Saints go into Friday’s game in eighth place in the table after winning three of their games so far this season. Worcester, on the other hand, currently occupy eleventh place in the Aviva Premiership league table as things stand.

Saints have lost just one of their last seven visits to Sixways, losing by just one point as the travelled last season.

Friday’s game is not on television so the only place to find all the match commentary is at SaintsLive. Look out for links to the commentary on Saints’ social media channels.
