George Hendy has been named cinch Player of the Month for December, after the talented back wowed supporters with his performances during the final month of 2025.
The versatile winger/fullback started December by scoring the match-winning try in Saints’ sensational Investec Champions Cup victory away against Section Paloise.
Back at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens a week later, he bagged his first Northampton hat-trick in the 50-5 defeat of Vodacom Bulls.
The 23-year-old’s hot streak continued as he moved to 30 tries for the club with a brace in the pre-Christmas defeat of Sale Sharks back at cinch Stadium.
And while he didn’t add to his points scored in the victory away at Bath, Hendy was at the heart of the 21-41 success against last season’s PREM champions, including a remarkable loose ball grab and break that provided the assist for Henry Pollock’s break away first try that gave Saints a second-half lead they wouldn’t relinquish.
Hendy collected over than half of the supporter vote for December’s award, pipping fellow teammates Henry Pollock, Alex Coles, Josh Kemeny and Tom Pearson to the prize.
Throughout the season, cinch will also be offering up a range of prizes for those who vote for the award, with one lucky supporter each month selected at random after voting closes.
This month, Gary Edwards was chosen out of over 900 supporters who voted – with the Hendy supporter winning themself a Saints ball signed by the man himself.
