Guide to the Gardens: Saints v Saracens Premiership Rugby Cup Final

  • Stadium opens 1pm, kick-off 3pm
  • Sunday's game is a sell-out - get to the ground early to avoid queues!
  • Welcome back operatic tenor Laurence Robinson at half-time
  • Stick around to hear music from Dave Spencer Trio in Rodber post-match

Hoping to claim their first silverware since completing the double in 2014, Saints return to Franklin's Gardens to take on Saracens in the Premiership Rugby Cup Final this Sunday (kick-off 3pm).

GET TO THE GARDENS EARLY
Make sure you get to the ground early this weekend, with the game a complete sell-out you don't want to get caught in the queues to get into the stadium! And with our usual bag searches in place, be sure you allow plenty of time to get to your seat before the action gets underway.

FLAGS
To celebrate the Final, we’ll be giving away 6,500 limited edition Saints flags so make sure you get to the ground early to claim yours!

SEASON TICKET HOLDERS
Please note, this game is not included in 2018/19 Season Ticket packages. Season Ticket Holders without tickets to the game will be denied entry to Franklin's Gardens on Sunday.

POST-MATCH
Don't rush off after the game, the trophy presentation will happen immediately after the full-time whistle has blown!

And James Grayson will be presented with the Premiership Rugby Cup Breakthrough Player of the Season award after the game - the fly-half was named the winner of the award after a public vote earlier this month.

Stick around after the presentations have finished as well - you can catch some music from the Dave Spencer Trio in the Rodber Bar post-match!

CAR PARKING
Car Parks A, B, C and D will all be open as usual to season pass holders. Day passes for Claret Car Park will be available on the gate for £5. Car Parks open at 12.30pm, please use NN5 5JT in satellite navigation devices for Car Park D and Claret Car Park.

Please also be aware that there will be no movement in VIP Car Park from ten minutes before the full-time whistle for at least 25 minutes. As usual, traffic management will be in place in Car Park D, Claret Car Park and on Edgar Mobbs Way.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITY
Head down the back pitches from 1pm to see the Northampton Heathens Hellhounds, Saints' Mixed Ability Rugby partner club, take on their Saracens counterparts ahead of the action on the main pitch. You can watch this game completely free of charge!

This week's Club of the Match is St Neots - the club will form the Guard of Honour this weekend so give them a big cheer! We'll also be hearing from a member of the St Neots side in the Village before the game gets underway.

IN THE SUPPORTER VILLAGE
Expect to see all the usual Supporter Village activity including face painting and passing challenge, alongside the usual activity from our Club partners Toolstation and AutoWindscreens.

We'll also be hearing from a member of the Saints squad in the Village before the game. And don't forget to give generously to this weekend's bucket shakers, Wooden Spoon!

AT HALF-TIME
After serenading us so well as Saints faced Sale Sharks last month, we're delighted to welcome Laurence Robinson back to the Gardens this weekend! He'll be treating us to some tunes during the interval.
