Harrison to start final Australia Test in Sydney

Eddie Jones has named Saints back row Teimana Harrison to start England’s third and final Test against Australia in Sydney on Saturday.

Harrison made his England debut against Wales last month and will win his second England cap as England look to secure a 3-0 series whitewash against the Wallabies.

His inclusion is the only change to the starting XV that secured the series by winning the second Test in Melbourne at the weekend.

Harrison is joined in the match day squad by fellow Saint Dylan Hartley, who captains the side from hooker, with Paul Hill and Courtney Lawes named among the replacements.

“Teimana has trained well throughout the tour and deserves his spot. He’s an excellent defender and his robustness will be important to us at the start of the game,” said head coach Eddie Jones, when announcing the match day squad.

“We’re looking forward to playing in front of a full house at Allianz Stadium on Saturday and we are confident we can finish the job off with a win.”

The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports 1. KO is 11:00am BST.
