England captain Dylan Hartley says that his side are “hungry” to rewrite the history books on their summer tour as they look to wrap up their first ever series victory over Australia in Melbourne on Saturday.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Hartley said: “"We go again - that's the message.

"I keep going on about it but we're so hungry to improve as a team, we're hungry to win this series and hungry to make history."

Following their 39-28 victory over the Wallabies in Brisbane on Saturday, Hartley says that England have prepared thoroughly for the Test on Saturday and are desperate to secure the series in Melbourne.

"We've left no stone unturned this week. We're desperate to win this week,” said Hartley. “The focus has been on ourselves this week to train hard and get the fundamentals right, not be complacent and go to another level again.

The second Test between England and Australia kicks off on Saturday at 11:00am BST and will be shown live on Sky Sports 1.
