Home semi at stake at stadiummk

Results this weekend saw both Bath and Saracens close the gap to the Saints, but with Jim Mallinder’s men still six points clear at the top things are still very much in the team’s own hands as the season heads rapidly towards its business end.

However the loss at Exeter, combined with Saracens’ own win over Leicester, mean that a win in the re-match of last season’s final is going to be important for both teams as they chase for an all-important home semi-final.

Saints have 67 points, with home games against Saracens and London Welsh still to come, not to mention a last-day trip to Leicester.

As well as their trip to stadiummk, Saracens – who have 61 points – have Exeter at home and a trip to London Welsh in their run-in, as well as a Champions Cup semi-final against Clermont Auvergne in St Etienne this coming weekend.

Bath, who also have 61 points, have London Irish (R20) and Gloucester (R22) to play at the Recreation Ground, with these games sandwiching a trip to the Twickenham Stoop in Round 21.

Also in the hunt for a semi-final spot at Exeter (4th place, 58 points), Leicester (5th, 55) and Wasps (6th, 53).

But of course all that matters from a Saints perspective is getting back to the winning momentum ahead of the end of the regular season and in this regard you can help by filling the stands at stadiummk with black, green and gold!
