Northampton Saints are proud to announce a new partnership with MAN v FAT Rugby, launching on Thursday 12 March 2026, to support men across Northampton on their health and wellbeing journeys.
MAN v FAT Rugby is a nationwide programme designed specifically for men with a BMI of 27.5 or above, combining the camaraderie of rugby with structured weight‑management support.
Led by trained coaches and supported by regular team sessions, the programme offers a friendly, motivational environment for men looking to get healthier – no previous rugby experience required.
Starting this March, Saints supporters will have exclusive early access to register, with a dedicated referral code: SAINTS.
The launch of MAN v FAT Rugby in Northampton strengthens Saints’ expanding Community Health & Wellbeing Programme, which focuses on supporting physical activity, improving lifestyle behaviours, and creating inclusive opportunities for local people to thrive.
“We’re thrilled to bring MAN v FAT Rugby to Northampton,” said Jamie Higgins, Inclusion Officer at Northampton Saints.
Ben Lawrence, Saints’ Head of Community, added: “This partnership allows us to create a supportive space for men who want to make a positive change.
“We’re excited to welcome participants to cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens and see the impact this initiative will have locally.”
