Northampton Saints lock Nick Isiekwe has been named Travis Perkins Player of the Month for December, after coming out on top of a tightly-contested vote by the Club’s supporters.
The 22-year-old beat fellow nominees Dan Biggar, George Furbank and David Ribbans to the award after a string of standout performances over the course of the month, which score him score a try against Leinster in Dublin before helping the side to their first win of the season against Worcester Warriors on Boxing Day.
Saints and Travis Perkins have joined forces this season to offer supporters the chance to win fantastic prizes, while rewarding Northampton’s players for their stellar performances throughout the campaign.
This month’s winner was Cheryl Russell, who was selected at random out of over 500 supporters who voted to win £50 worth of Saints Store vouchers.
