North and Lawes line up for the Lions

Saints duo, Courtney Lawes and George North, have been named amongst the British and Irish Lions squad for Tuesday's (June 27th) midweek fixture against the Hurricanes.

With the Lions falling to the All Blacks in the first Test on Saturday, Lawes and North have been called into the match day 23 for Tuesday alongside eight other Aviva Premiership players.

Featuring during the Lions' last two wins, defeating the Maori All Blacks and the Chiefs respectively, North and Lawes both start in Wellington for the eighth match of the tour to face the current Super Rugby Champions, the Hurricanes.

The game will be shown live on Sky Sports from 8am on Tuesday.
