Going top of the Aviva Premiership table last weekend after beating Harlequins at Franklin's Gardens, Saints take to the road once more as they head to Kingsholm and the challenge of Gloucester this Saturday.
Saint' top try-scorer so far this season, George North, said that the side must continue to learn from that opening loss against Saracens if they are to keep building on their already good form throughout the season.
"For us, we never wanted to start the season like that. The first outing, you always want to set your stall out really early to show what you're about and I think you couldn't get any further from what we're about at the moment.
"Obviously you have to dust yourselves down and look at yourself properly. And then we put a big onus on focussing on each week as it comes and I think it's showed in the performances."
Having earned the win for the last four fixtures, three of which have come with a try bonus point, North says Saints' are beginning to set their stall out now but that they must not get too ahead of themselves as they head to Gloucester this Saturday for the last Aviva Premiership game before the European Champions Cup gets underway.
"It's showed, both home and away, that we work hard each week, we're breaking things down and the performance comes from that on the Saturday. We're just really not getting too ahead of ourselves.
"We're nowhere near the perfect performance but each week we're building nicely and it shows where we are now at the top of the league."
