The winger, who is the first back to take home the Steffans Player of the Month award this season, has been rewarded for a string of outstanding performances in the black, green and gold and will be presented with a TW Steel watch at Steffans Northampton.
The 21-year-old scored crucial tries against Harlequins and the Ospreys which put the Saints on the road to wins in both games, and he was one of the stand-out performers in the win over Castres which put the team into the Amlin Challenge Cup quarter finals.
He beat off stiff competition from previous Steffans Player of the Month award winner Alex Waller and England flanker Tom Wood.
North is joined on the winners' roll of honour by Ryan Glynn, who has been named by the Saints coaches as the TW Steel Clubman of the Month.
Glynn has been chosen in recognition of his unflagging enthusiasm in training and as a travelling reserve, when he joins the team at venues up and down the country as cover if one of the match day 23 suffers a late injury.
“Ryan is a good character to have around the club,” said director of rugby Jim Mallinder. “Being a travelling reserve is never easy. You have to travel on the day, do the same warm-up programme as the rest of the team and get your mindset ready to play, even though the chances of actually playing are quite remote.
“Players can get disheartened by this, but Ryan has always had a smile on his face, always had a positive approach to the task and always been supportive of the squad which runs out to face the opposition.
“We always say that to have a successful team you need contributions on and off the pitch, and Ryan is contributing a great deal. He thoroughly deserves his TW Steel Clubman of the Month award.”
The club also announced that Zoe Mandley, who was one of the hundreds and hundreds of supporters who cast their vote in November, has won the £50 voucher for Steffans Northampton.
