Northampton Wanderers clash with Wasps rearranged

Northampton Saints has been notified that the Premiership Rugby Shield fixture with Wasps, which was initially postponed back in September, has been rearranged for next Monday (25 March, kick-off 7pm).

After claiming a two-point victory over the Coventry-based side in the last round of games in December, the Wanderers will be hoping to progress up the table and close the gap on current Northern Conference leaders Newcastle Falcons.

Due to an event taking place in the Rodber Bar, all supporters coming to the game on Monday must park in Car Park D. Seating will be in the Church’s Stand with bar facilities only available in the Marquee bar – disabled seating will be available in the Church’s Stand also.

Wanderers will then take on Worcester at Sixways and Newcastle Falcons at home before the final round of regular-season matches take place in the last weekend of April.

And the current two-time reigning competition champions will close their season with an East Midlands derby against Leicester Tigers, with the game now set to take place on Saturday 20 April at Franklin’s Gardens (kick-off 1pm).

Home Wanderers matches remain free to attend for Season Ticket Holders; with tickets costing £5 for adults and £2 for under-16s for those without a Season Ticket.
