Northampton Saints U18s Head Coach Charlie Reed has named his squad to face Gloucester this Friday (14 August, kick-off: 12pm) at Moulton College in Round 2 of the Defender PREM Next Gen Academy League.
Saints head into the second round of the Next Gen Academy league following a bye week in Round 1 at Malvern College, where Saints instead played a friendly game against Leinster, where they emerged 28-22 victors.
In the matchday squad, there is a significant amount of Academy league experience, including the captain for the season, Seb Dare, as well as a handful of debuts amongst the matchday 23.
The Next Gen League features the Academy programmes of Gallagher PREM clubs, alongside invited teams, as the country's brightest Under-18 players continue their development in one of the world's leading player pathways, forming part of PREM Rugby's long-term commitment to developing elite talent and strengthening the pathway from Academy rugby to the professional game.
