Another chance has come for you to have your say in who is named Gallagher Premiership Rugby player of the month, Cobus Reinach amongst the nominees once again for the month of April.
It is the fourth time in a row the South African scrum-half has been nominated for the award, after winning it outright in December.
With just two rounds of Gallagher Premiership Rugby action to go there is still plenty to play for at both ends of the table, with ten teams still in the hunt to feature at Twickenham in the Gallagher Premiership Rugby Final 2019 on Saturday 1 June.
It has been one of the most intriguing and competitive seasons to date and the excitement was evident throughout April, with a number of individuals standing out for their respective clubs, leading to a final shortlist of 12 being named:
- Josh Adams (Worcester Warriors)
- John Afoa (Bristol Bears)
- Mike Brown (Harlequins)
- Alex Goode (Saracens)
- Francois Hougaard (Worcester Warriors)
- Sam Lewis (Worcester Warriors)
- Ben Morgan (Gloucester Rugby)
- Cobus Reinach (Northampton Saints)
- Ben Spencer (Saracens)
- Harry Thacker (Bristol Bears)
- Guy Thompson (Leicester Tigers)
- Duncan Weir (Worcester Warriors)
It is becoming harder than ever to pick one star performer each month, which is why we have opened the voting to the public on the official Premiership Rugby app this season.
The usual panel of nine judges remain – Nick Mullins (BT Sport), Alastair Eykyn (BT Sport), Mick Cleary (The Daily Telegraph), Sarah Mockford (Rugby World), Jonny Fordham (The Sun), Robert Kitson (The Guardian), Chris Jones (BBC 5 Live), David Rogers (Getty Images) and Tom Hamilton (ESPN) with Premiership Rugby Communications Director Paul Morgan acting as chair – but this season the public will act as a tenth judge.
Your vote and those from the other nine judges will then be tallied to reveal the winner each month.
