Northampton Saints are delighted to today announce a new partnership with PTS Training Academy, who become the Club’s official training and development partner.
The agreement will see the Club’s existing training and development programme, ‘Saints University’, go from strength to strength.
In its current guise, the scheme supports Saints players in their post-rugby career preparation, as well as the Club’s staff in planning for the future and progressing their careers.

But powered by PTS, Saints University will start delivering a wider variety of training courses, as well as developing a training programme for Academy players to ensure they are equipped with the skills they need to succeed in the environment of professional rugby.
“This is a huge step for Saints University, which we hope to develop into the leading training and development programme not only within English club rugby, but within UK sport,” said Nicky Browne, Head of Saints University.
“This new partnership with PTS will allow us to actively support every player in their post-rugby career progression, as well as ensuring that all our commercial and support staff are developing their skills in their current roles, in a way that is financially sustainable for the Club.
“So we’re really excited to welcome PTS to the team – by working together, we can ensure that Northampton Saints continues to make great strides both on and off the field.”
Northampton-based firm PTS boast over 20 years experience in the training sector, delivering high-quality training courses, apprenticeships and traineeships for individuals and businesses within a variety of occupational sectors across the UK.
As part of their agreement with Saints, PTS will take advantage of the Club’s market-leading hospitality spaces on matchdays, in-stadia branding, big screen advertising and exclusive access to Northampton’s players to create bespoke and engaging content.
