Saints and Church & Co Ltd extend Elite Partnership

Northampton Saints and Church’s Footwear have today announced an extension to their Elite Partnership agreement.

The relationship between the two iconic Northampton brands stretches back decades, and the latest renewal will see the Church’s logo continue to feature prominently at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens and on the playing kit.

Church’s is a luxury footwear manufacturer that was founded by Thomas Church in Northampton in 1873 – just seven years before Northampton Saints was founded in 1880.

Just a few hundred metres separate cinch Stadium and Church’s St James Road factory – it’s home for more than 65 years – which are both dominant features in the west Northampton landscape.

Just as it did for the Club’s finest hour for the Heineken Cup win in 2000, Church’s branding will feature prominently on the Club’s home and away shirts for the next three seasons.

And Saints are delighted to confirm that Church’s will remain as the title sponsor for the West Stand at cinch Stadium – extending that association beyond 20 years stretching back to when the stand was first built back in the summer of 2002.

“There’s such a strong connection between Northampton Saints and Church’s, so we are thrilled that the Elite Partnership has been extended for three more years,” said Ulundi Makhanya, Director of Commercial Partnerships at Northampton Saints.

“So many iconic images of the Club’s biggest achievements feature the Church’s logo, which has been seen around the world in stadiums, on television and on social media.

“Every matchday the players run out from within a packed-out Church’s Stand and we are delighted that title sponsorship remains firmly in place with this latest renewal.”

Church’s – which was bought by the Prada Group in 1999 – has a global presence, with retail stores in Europe and Asia and wholesale distribution throughout the world.

As part of the renewal agreement, Saints players will continue to proudly wear Church’s footwear on matchdays.

Denni Manzatto, Church’s CEO, added: “We remain very proud to be an Elite Sponsor of Northampton Saints and are pleased to announce this latest renewal.

“It is a strong source of pride for us to see our logo on the shirts as the team travels across the globe achieving big things along the way.

“We wish the team all the best for the rest of the 2025/26 season.”
