Northampton Saints Community have confirmed a new three‑year agreement to host the Club’s hugely popular Saints Residential Rugby Camps at the prestigious Stowe School location.
The announcement, which covers the 2027, 2028 and 2029 summer Residentials, extends a long-standing partnership stretching back 16 years that has become central to Saints’ player‑development pathway.
More than 4,500 young players have attended the residentials over the past decade, with several going on to represent the Club at senior level – including Alex Coles and Ollie Sleightholme.
The girls’ programme has also supported the progression of future JAECOO Premiership Women’s Rugby talent, with Georgia Brock, Tamsin Baynes and Sarah Parry all progressing to the top flight after attending the girls‑only week.
“It is fantastic to be able to commit to hosting the camps at Stowe School for the next three years,” said Ben Lawrence, Head of Community.
“The Residentials have become the highlight of the summer for hundreds of players from across the world, as well as for the staff, and the venue offers us a brilliant base to bring that experience together each year.”
“We have a fantastic relationship with everyone at Stowe, from the events team right through to housekeeping, catering and grounds. They all contribute to delivering an outstanding experience for every participant.
Saints first brought their Residential Camps to Stowe in 2010, with the ambition of creating an environment where young players could grow both on and off the field while making memories to last a lifetime. The programme has since evolved into one of the most respected development camps in the country.
Each summer, players take part in a holistic and intensive rugby programme, designed to challenge ambitious young athletes and support their progression along the rugby pathway. Sessions are delivered by Saints’ Community coaches, with senior Northampton Saints players visiting during the week to assist with training, answer questions, and share insights into life as a professional athlete.
Alongside the three-day and five-day Residentials and the Saints Residential Experience days was the Legends Weekend, which saw the likes of Dylan Hartley, Tom Wood and Bruce Reihana present to pass on their expertise to hundreds of young rugby players.
The girls‑only Residential, now entering its eight year, has grown from just 16 participants in its debut to regularly welcoming more than 100 players from across the world. The camp is supported by Loughborough Lightning through the Club’s female rugby partnership, with Lightning players attending for a dedicated day‑long visit. The 2026 edition saw World Cup winners Emily Scarratt, Sadia Kabeya, Helena Rowland and Lilli Ives Campion all spend the day at Stowe School.
