Northampton Saints is delighted to announce that HCR Law has renewed its commitment as the Club’s Official Legal Partner.
HCR Law first teamed up with Saints in 2023, providing the Club with expert legal advice and helping to deliver their exciting commercial and community initiatives.
Formerly known as HCR Hewitsons, the company changed its name for all 12 of its offices – including its Central England Office based in Northampton – to HCR Law in October 2025.
For over 200 years, HCR Law has served the local community and recently saw all its regions be ranked in the Chambers and Partners UK 2026 guide which recognises leading law firms and lawyers within the UK legal sector.
“We’re thrilled that HCR Law has extended its partnership with us,” said Ulundi Makhanya, Director of Commercial Partnerships at Saints.
“It has proven to be a hugely beneficial relationship for Saints. We are able to call on their wealth of experience and expertise as we journey through the myriads of challenges that are presented to a professional sporting team.
“HCR Law has its place in the heart of the communities it serves and those values are something that really resonate with ours at Northampton Saints, and we look forward to continuing our relationship into the future.”
Award-winning top 50 UK law firm, HCR, were recently recognised by The Times as a leading legal practice in England and Wales.
Dominic Hopkins, Partner and Joint Head of HCR’s Central England Office, commented: "We are delighted to extend our partnership with Northampton Saints as their Official Legal Partner. Supporting the Club both on and off the pitch reflects our long-standing commitment to the communities we serve.
“We look forward to the remainder of the season, as the team looks to continue the momentum achieved in the first part of the season.”
