Saints change three for derby day

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

The Saints host Leicester at a sold-out Franklin’s Gardens looking to regain the momentum that saw the team achieve a club record 13 successive victories between mid-December and mid-March.

Two of the changes are in the back line, where George Pisi returns at outside centre and Kahn Fotuali’i partnering Will Hooley in the half-backs. Up front Phil Dowson comes into the back row, with Tom Wood moving to Number 8.

Meanwhile Ethan Waller rejoins the replacements’ bench.

Saturday’s game may be sold out, but supporters can still stay in touch with the action as it happens by watching BT Sport 1 from 3pm, heading to www.saintslive.co.uk or listening to BBC Radio Northampton.

Alex King, Tom Wood and Mike Haywood have been giving their thoughts on the game to the Saints’ official podcast, available for free on any device by CLICKING HERE

This week’s edition also has an exclusive interview with England Under-20 prop Danny Hobbs-Awoyemi, who discusses the recent Six Nations and what it was like coming up against former Saint Chris Budgen in the Mobbs Memorial Match.
