Northampton Saints popular one-day masterclasses are returning in 2023/24, with the skills-based courses for the new season available to book now.
The evening rugby masterclasses – that cost just £35* (Northamptonshire) / £25* (other locations) – are designed to provide a short and sharp learning experience to accompany young rugby players’ regular training, drawing down on the training principles of the senior Saints and Loughborough Lightning sides.
Focussing on skills-based learning and position-specific techniques, the courses aim to help young rugby players hone their skills – with each masterclass centred on a different area such as attack, tackling, breakdown, kicking or half-back skills.
The classes taking place throughout autumn across various locations in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk – with the sessions open to both boys and girls between the ages of 13 and 16.
Masterclasses in Northamptonshire take place in Saints’ brand-new High Performance Centre (HPC) at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, with Northampton and Lightning player visits to the masterclasses also available across all locations (subject to availability).
