Saints players to attend February half-term rugby camps

Northampton Saints’ finest talent will be on hand to pass on their skills at this February's half-term rugby camps, with the Club confirming which first-team players will be in attendance across the region.

The men in Black, Green and Gold are hosting five half-term camps this month, as the Club’s community team deliver top-class coaching at Brackley RFC on 17th February and Franklin's Gardens and Leighton Buzzard RFC between February 18th and 20th, before two one-day skills camps get underway at St Ives RFC and Bedford Athletic RFC on 21st February.

Prices start at just £95 per child for the three-day camps, and places can be purchased by CLICKING HERE and selecting your preferred camp.

Northampton Saints half-term camps: Additional information

Children aged 6-16 will get the chance to get a feel for what it is like to be part of a Gallagher Premiership club.

Inspired by Saints’ desire to encourage and develop young talent, our coaches have developed a suitable programme to continually challenge young people and give them a worthwhile rugby experience.

Children will get the chance to develop their understanding of the game through a variety of activities and game situations, focusing on body management, tackle technique (U9+), fundamentals of rugby (including catch/pass, agility and kicking), decision-making in attack, go forward, defensive resilience, and creative play.

Training is structured into two sessions throughout the day with specific outcomes agreed by coaches. Lunch will run from 12:00-1:15pm and will include a lunchtime activity. Saints Community strive to help all participants reach their full potential, no matter if they have played rugby before or not.

As part of the camp, all children will receive:

  • Water bottle
  • Drawstring bag
  • T-shirt
  • Camp certificate
  • 10% Saints Store discount (when presenting certificate)
