The Saints go head-to-head with the Cherry and Whites with just a point separating the two teams in the Aviva Premiership Rugby table. And with both clubs still in the hunt for a top four spot director of rugby Jim Mallinder says that it is important that the home players and supporters are up for the challenge.
"After four weeks of cup action we are looking forward to getting back to the Aviva Premiership," he commented. "We're well placed in the league table and close to the top four, and with nine games left there is everything to play for. We need the players to be ready to perform from the first whistle, and it will be fantastic if the fans can create an inspiring atmosphere in the stands.
"Although we played Gloucester a fortnight ago this will be a different game. Both teams will have quite a few changes from that day, and there is always an edge when league points are up for grabs.
"It's going to be a tough contest and as with every week we're going to have to be at our best."
Tickets remain available for tomorrow's game. They can be booked by calling the Saints Ticket Office on 01604 581000 or by CLICKING HERE and following the straightforward instructions!
Supporters are also advised to allow plenty of time for their journey away from Franklin's Gardens. The club's post-match traffic management scheme will be in operation, but with cars leaving Franklin's Gardens at the same time as Northampton Town supporters arriving at Sixfields there could be some congestion.
There is no need to rush off, however, as the Six Nations will be being shown on the big screens in the bars at the stadium!
