Saints team news for Leicester clash

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

The Northampton Saints team has been announced for Saturday’s Aviva Premiership derby against Leicester.

With five rounds to play both teams are locked in a battle for the Aviva Premiership’s top four, and the Saints coaches are bringing back all of the club’s Six Nations players back into the starting line-up that will run out at a sold-out Franklin’s Gardens.

Saturday’s game will be preceded by a minute’s silence to remember both the victims of this week’s incident in London as well as Keith Picton, the club’s former youth team manager who played a crucial role in the development of a large number of Saints stars, including Rugby World Cup winners and British and Irish Lions.

Supporters heading to Franklin’s Gardens are reminded to plan their journeys in advance. Northampton Town’s game against Oxford United at Sixfields also kicks off at 3pm, and with on-going roadworks on Weedon Road and a circus taking place at Duston Mill (adjacent to Sixfields) heavy traffic is expected in west Northampton all afternoon. There is plenty going on at the Gardens on Saturday both before and after the game. CLICK HERE to see what’s happening!
