Saints team news versus Stade Francais

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

The Northampton Saints team has been named for the European Rugby Champions Cup qualifying final against Stade Francais at Franklin’s Gardens on Friday night.

This is the first time that the two clubs have met in European competition; indeed, the only previous clash between the Saints and Stade was a pre-season friendly in 2002 that ended 33-all.

Tomorrow night’s stakes are high, with the winner earning a place in the 2017/18 European Rugby Champions Cup.

The Saints coaches have made just the one change to the starting line-up from last Saturday’s win over Connacht, with Tom Wood returning to captain the side from the back row.

Tickets remain available for the big game, priced at £19 for adults and £1 for Under-16s. Tickets can be booked online by CLICKING HERE and by using [email protected] supporters can beat the match day queues and save themselves the admin fees.

Some important reminders for supporters heading to tomorrow’s game:

If you are collecting match tickets please make sure you do so as early as possible. There are nearly 3,000 tickets that need to be collected and if supporters leave it late then they might miss the start of the game. Collections can be made until 7pm today (Thursday) and from 9am on match day

All supporters need to familiarize themselves with the additional security procedures that will be in operation at Franklin’s Gardens on match day. CLICK HERE for full details

Allow additional time for journeys to Franklin’s Gardens to allow for extensive roadworks on Weedon Road in the area immediately surrounding the stadium

The Saints Shop has an end-of-season sale with 40% off everything!
