Wood retains his place at Number 8 for the third game running, while Hartley and Lawes will both be looking for action off the bench.
England top the Six Nations table with three wins out of three, but head coach Stuart Lancaster says that, given half a chance, Italy could throw a spanner in any Grand Slam hopes.
"Italy will be highly motivated for this game and we will have to perform for the full 80 minutes," he commented. "I am sure those starting will seize their chance and the bench will also have a significant part to play as the game goes on.
"The support at Twickenham for the Scotland and France games was superb and I am sure the atmosphere will be fantastic again for our final home match of the Championship."
Sunday's game is being shown live on BBC1.
Another Saint on international duty this weekend is Vasily Artemyev, who will be helping Russia try to get their Rugby World Cup qualifying campaign back on track with an away win over Portugal in Coimbra. Artemyev starts on the wing in this game, which will be streamed live via www.rugby.ru
