The Under-16s got their season underway in a four-way tournament against sides from Leicester Tigers, Cardiff North and Cardiff South.
All three games finished with wins for the lads in black, green and gold, with Cardiff South being beaten by five tries to one, Cardiff South 1-0 and Leicester 3-0.
Both the Saints Under-15s and Under-16s continue their development with games against Saracens this coming Thursday, August 23rd. Both matches are being played at Haileybury School near Hertford; the Under-15s kicking off at 12:30pm and the Under-16s at 4pm.
Then on Saturday, September 1st the Under-16s take on the rest of the Northern Academies - Leicester, Worcester, Sale, Newcastle and Leeds - in a round-robin tournament at Leicester Grammar School.
