Northampton Saints supporters will now benefit from Ticketmaster’s 3D Virtual Venue technology, as well as Friends & Family functionality on their accounts, with the Club’s Ticket Office utilising two new features on its online platform.

3D Virtual Venue is a world-leading and fully-integrated purchase experience, offering supporters a unique and life-like view of seats within the stadium when purchasing tickets on any device.
Northampton Saints’ supporters will now have a fully-immersive ticket buying experience, being able to preview seats in the stadium digitally – with a 360 degree, 3D view from their chosen seats. The platform allows customers to compare seats, and see the real-time availability of them.
“3D Virtual Venue was designed to allow supporters to try before they buy,” says Steve Korian, Executive Vice President at Ticketmaster’s partner IOMEDIA – the digital agency that created the solution.
“The 3D views from every seat enable the ticket buyer to make a more informed purchase decision, as they’ve had a chance to experience the seat views.”

Whilst different seat-view technologies have sprouted up across sports and entertainment in recent years, Northampton Saints believe Ticketmaster’s Virtual Venue offers the best seat in the house due to its ticket system integration and pre-eminent technology.
Laura Percival, Saints’ Head of Marketing and Ticketing, added: “We’re delighted to be able to offer Saints supporters 3D technology on our Ticketmaster ticketing platform.
“The 3D Virtual Venue functionality will enhance our supporters’ user experience by enabling them to see accurate pitch views when purchasing a ticket. It will be easier than ever for people to make sure they are getting the best seats for them.”
FRIENDS & FAMILY
Supporters can now also add their Friends & Family to their accounts, so that multiple tickets can be bought and assigned to people within their network.
For Season Ticket Holders, this means you will now be able to buy/renew multiple Season Tickets in one transaction (where previously only one Season Ticket could be purchased per account).
Meanwhile match ticket purchasers can purchase multiple tickets, assigning each one to individuals during the checkout process who will then receive their own ticket directly via email.
Percival added: “Friends & Family functionality is something we have wanted to implement for quite some time. We know this will make life easier for our supporters – particularly Season Tickets Holders who want to secure seasonal seats for their entire family in just one transaction.
