Northampton Saints’ fifth ‘Community Game’ is taking place when Saracens visit cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens in this weekend’s PREM Rugby Cup encounter.

The men in Black, Green and Gold take on the North London side on Saturday 28 February (kick-off: 3.05pm), in what is the final round of pool stage games. Saints have qualified for the knock-out stages of the competition, but will be playing to secure the highest seeding possible for the chance of hosting the Final on home soil should they progress further.

It was back in September 2025 when the two sides met in the first round of the competition, when Saints emerged victorious from a high-scoring encounter at StoneX Stadium, 34-49.

Each year, the ‘Community Game’ sees Saints celebrate the Club’s outreach programmes, which will come to the fore on matchday. Northampton’s thriving relationship with local grassroots clubs will also be celebrated, with Saints’ players leaving their usual match socks in their kitbags and instead wearing those from clubs throughout the region.

The Club is also staging a host of new, family-focused activities for the fixture – with junior and child tickets priced at just £5* across all ticket categories!

  • Socks from 22 grassroots clubs will be worn by Saints players.
  • Project Rugby Festival featuring nine schools will be held, with participants enjoying a stadium tour and a Q&A session with a Saints player.

“I’m delighted to see the Community Game taking place again this season,” said Saints’ Head of Community, Ben Lawrence. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for the Club to showcase all the programmes and people we engage across our community regions.

“This year we have managed to provide more tickets than ever before to schools and families that will get to come to cinch Stadium for the first time. I’m grateful that the Club holds its Community in such high regard and provides these opportunities for our fans.”
