Saints vs Newcastle: Applications open for Kids Takeover!

Have your little ones ever fancied taking on one of the many important jobs around cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens on a matchday?

Well, now Northampton Saints are offering the opportunity for children aged 5-12 to take part in a special ‘Kids Takeover’ for the Premiership Rugby Cup clash with Newcastle Red Bulls on Saturday 15 November (kick-off: 5.30pm).

With a range of roles on offer for one day only – including mini-announcer, mini-mascot, mini-steward, mini-groundsman, mini-social media producer and mini-tour guide – applications are open NOW!

  • Mini-announcer: Assist our regular matchday announcer, Pete Nuttall, with reading the two teams out before the match over the PA system!
  • Mini-mascot: Become Bernie the Dog’s sidekick before the match and help to spread Saintly good cheer around cinch Stadium!
  • Mini-steward: You'll ensure that everyone arriving at cinch Stadium receives a warm welcome and knows where they should be headed!
  • Mini-groundsman: Help our groundstaff prepare our award-winning stadium pitch at half-time for the second 40!
  • Mini-social media producer: Assist the Club’s media team in creating some special content for Saints’ social media channels!
  • Mini-tour guide: Help lead a group of guests around cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens before the game, and deliver some fascinating Saints facts! Please note to fulfil this role, you will need to be at the ground before opening time (2.15pm) but parents will be able to join the tour too.

To apply, please complete the form below on behalf of your child before 5pm on Tuesday 11 November. Successful applicants will be contacted on Wednesday 12 November.

Please note, to enter your child must have a match ticket or Season Ticket, and be aged 5-12 years old. Your child will shadow their senior Saints counterpart to carry out their ‘Kids Takeover’ role, but will be able to watch Saints vs Newcastle from their purchased seat alongside parents/friends. Parents can stay close to their children throughout the Kids Takeover, and please let us know on the form if you do not consent for your child to be photographed/filmed by our in-house content team.
