Rugby returns to Franklin’s Gardens on Friday, July 29th with the carnival themed Singha Premiership Rugby Sevens Series!
The Saints take on Saracens, Harlequins and Gloucester with the first game kick off at 7pm. Gates and stadium will be open from 5:30pm when Village entertainment will begin.
Limelight and Top Hat theatre groups from Northampton will be performing in the Village and by the main reception statue at 6:15pm, with the Liberty Drum Corps getting the party started in the stadium at 6:40pm and at regular intervals throughout the night.
Limelight and Top Hat will be performing on the main pitch between games two and three, when there will also be a demonstration of Touch Rugby by two of the teams who are playing in the tournament on the training pitches earlier in the day.
We’ve got loads of prizes to be won, including in a special obstacle course between games four and five – just see a member of Saints staff (identified by a lanyard and pass) in the Village from 5:30pm.
Bars and food outlets will also be open from 5:30pm and car parks open from 9am. Supporters can park in Car Park D which can be found on Edgar Mobbs Way. Car parks will close at 11pm and will not be re-opened until Monday morning for any cars left overnight.
