Northampton Saints’ medical team are offering a unique opportunity for local physios to hone their skills, as they host a one-off taping masterclass at Franklin’s Gardens on Wednesday 18 March.
Athletic taping is one of the most important skills in professional sport – improving performance, reducing pain and aiding effective recovery.
And physiotherapists Lee Daggett, Kiera Ruddy, Nathan Allwork and Joe Booth, as well as head of medical Matt Lee, will be sharing their expertise at the home of Northampton Saints, in partnership with the Club’s official tape provider Fit4Sport, delivering a Continuing Professional Development tutorial focusing on sports taping of the upper limb (shoulders, elbows, wrists and fingers).
Starting at 6.30pm and finishing by 9pm, the hands-on session is aimed at physios, sports and rehab therapists, including grassroots medical staff at clubs across Northamptonshire and beyond – with skills applicable to a wide variety of sports and activity, not just rugby.
Up to 20 places are available to book now, costing just £40 per person.
For more information about the event or to sign up to attend, please email Lee Daggett on [email protected].
