Saints are delighted to confirm that Tompkins, Knight & Son Optometrists (TK&S) will become the Club’s official vision care partner.

As part of the partnership, TK&S will provide Saints’ playing group with enhanced eye examinations and vision correction at their Northampton premises just three miles from Franklin’s Gardens.

The agreement goes much further than a traditional sponsor relationship usually seen in club rugby. Over the term, TK&S will provide the players with vision screening and ensure their eyes are healthy and performing at the optimal level to allow them to function at their very best – both on and off the pitch.

TK&S has been delivering quality eye care since the Club was founded in 1880, and uses the latest technology and the treatments to offer outstanding levels of service and ensure exceptional patient care.

The agreement, which starts in March, will also see TK&S receive a suite of commercial rights including branding, advertising and access to matchday tickets.

Commenting on the new partnership, Northampton Saints Chief Executive Mark Darbon said: “Like Saints, TK&S has a long local history with Northampton and we are looking forward to working closely with them for the next year and a half.

“We are constantly striving to be the best Club in the Aviva Premiership in everything that we do, and looking to take advantage of any opportunity that might give us an edge over our competition.

“I am confident this partnership with TK&S will help our players deliver their very best on the field, and to have them on our doorstep in Northampton is a big boost for the Club.”

Brian Tompkins, director of TK&S added: “This is a brilliant opportunity to team up with one of the biggest names in European rugby.

“Optimal eyesight is absolutely essential in professional sport, so we are glad to do our bit to help ensure Saints’ players get the best possible support to do their job. Elite professionals require elite care and that is what we will provide.”

Tickets are still available for Saints' home clash with Sale Sharks on Saturday 3 March from the ticket office at Franklin’s Gardens, online by CLICKING HERE or by calling the Saints Ticket Office on 01604 581000.
