The Tongan prop, who turns 31 years old next Monday, made his debut in September 2006 and joins Nick Beal, Ben Cohen, Matt Dawson, Paul Grayson, Jon Phillips, Budge Pountney, Bruce Reihana, Tim Rodber and Grant Seely to have played 200 or more games for the Saints in the professional era.
Director of rugby Jim Mallinder today paid tribute to Tonga'uiha's achievement, and said that he will have to put in a big performance at Scotstoun as the Saints continue their campaign for a European knockout place.
"Players don't hit the 200-appearance mark that often for one club, and it says a lot about Soane's consistency and durability that he has done so playing in one of the toughest positions on the field," Mallinder commented. "He has put in plenty of big performances in his time at the Saints, and he will need another big game in Glasgow tomorrow.
"We still have a mathematical chance of a Heineken Cup quarter final, but to keep us in the running we will need a win at Scotstoun. Nothing less than that will do. All of the players know what is expected of them and we are travelling determined to continue our recent winning run.
"Glasgow is always a difficult place to play. The Warriors squad is full of international talent and they showed in the opening 20 minutes at Franklin's Gardens how dangerous they can be given the chance.
"So the main objective is to win the game, and then anything that happens after that is a bonus."
Saturday's game is being shown live on Sky Sports 3 via the red button (coverage from 1:35pm), with supporters also able to follow the action via the Saints' official Facebook page and Twitter feed.
