Tough weekend for Saints' loan ten

Six Saints littered the Moseley squad for their Championship trip to Rotherham, including former Titans skipper Sam Dickinson. It wouldn't be a happy return for the number 8, however, despite Moseley taking an early 0-10 lead. Rotherham fought back and though they were reduced to 14 men with 15 to play, held on for a 26-22 triumph. Alex Day, Ryan Glynn, Tom Stephenson, Danny Herriott and Adam Parkins also featured in the fixture.

In National One, while Cambridge were left to rue their errors in a 29-19 reverse at Sedgeley Park, director of rugby Rowland Winter was 'pleased' with the work rate and energy shown by the Saints back row combination of Darrel Dyer and Teimana Harrison. Academy fly half Will Hooley also featured for the Blood and Sand.

Finally, at Blaydon full back Tom Collins started in another try-fest for his loan club Coventry. Though they would come off second best in the 39-25 scoreline, four of the 10 tries scored were theirs and they took home a try bonus as consolation.
