Tuala will wear the number 15 shirt as Samoa look to build on last week’s promising performance against New Zealand when they run out in San Jose to face the USA in the early hours of Sunday morning, UK time.
There is a healthy Aviva Premiership representation in the match, with Tuala joined in the back three by Newcastle pair Alesana Tuilagi and Sinoti Sinoti. Up front there are call-ups for Sale flanker TJ Ioane, former Bath prop Anthony Perenise and loose-head prop Sakaria Taulafo, who was at Wasps until relatively recently.
Meanwhile the Samoan bench includes Sale centre Johnny Leota and former Saint Fa’atoina Autagavaia.
Tuala will also have a familiar face in the opposition ranks, with former Saints back rower Cam Dolan on the blind-side flank and Saracens full back Chris Wyles his immediate opposite number.
